Innovation in the factory

One of our clients trialling Re>Pal pallets is a large bottling company in Indonesia, and they need a flat deck pallet for export and therefore can’t use the heavier HD or HDL range of flat-deck warehouse pallets. Our NP pallet range, typically used for exports, has nesting holes which allows many pallets to be shipped in a container to a client, reducing either shipping or back-hauling costs.

This ‘nesting’ though does mean that for certain types of goods that they can fall into the nesting holes and therefore make the nesting design unsuitable. However, the engineers at the factory have provided a solution which is shown below and allows us to make the pallet inserts shown, to be shipped with the pallets so the client can assemble, and have the nesting/ shipping benefit or these inserts can be added at the Re>Pal factory. We will see how the trial with this large bottling company goes, but with a range of skills in the factory, we are able to respond quickly to opportunities and hopefully encourage our clients to transition to Re>Pal’s 100% mixed waste plastic pallets.
