Coca Cola Beverages Philippines starts with Re>Pal

The circular economy is at the heart of what Re>Pal does, as we take 100% waste into an asset that can also be then recycled, and it’s therefore pleasing when our clients are also valuing and investing in this new business method. Coca Cola is one such organisation that I feature this month as they have recently ordered warehouse pallets as part of a trial in their Philippine factory. For a while they have had a ‘zero waste’ vision towards a world without Waste. Now, Coca Cola is taking this further forward with its zero waste cities vision and educating people and investing education centres to drive these visions forward. Coca Cola is trying to make 100% of its packaging recyclable globally by 2025—and use at least 50% recycled material in our packaging by 2030.

We are delighted to support Coca Cola in its in push to make the world more sustainable and through its 3 Sustainable Packaging pillars of Design, Collect, and Partner, Coca-Cola Philippines’ has set itself the goal of collecting and recycling every bottle and can it sells by the year 2030, as a part of making its packaging 100 percent recyclable by 2025. We certainly hope that Coke builds on its initial small 2020 trial order and that we can help their sustainability drive in 2021.

It’s pleasing to see the Philippines embrace the Re>Pal pallet as we have also received a recent order from a new client Entrego which is a new online fulfillment company. We wish them well in growing their business.
