Circular economy collaboration between Dynapack and Re>Pal

I am delighted to say that one of the leading South East Asian plastic bottling and packaging companies, Dynapack, has expanded its relationship with Re>Pal to improve the circularity of plastic used in its manufacturing process. The Dynapack Group has been a customer of Re>Pal for a year or so now, using our NSP1210 pallet, and in this time the relationship between us has expanded to encompass other Dynapack operations including both North and South Vietnam and Thailand. Now Dynapack is looking to expand the use of the NSP1210 pallet for its Singapore facility and within Indonesia it is looking to reuse manufacturing waste of HDPE, PP, LDPE and upcycle it into the Re>Pal pallets bought from us.

Emmeline Hambali, Executive Director of Dynapack explains “at Dynapack we value suppliers that have a sustainability focus. We are delighted with the way the Re>Pal pallet has performed for us and that we can replace all of our pallets over time with a 100% recycled plastic pallet that is also 100% recyclable gives us great comfort we are improving our environmental footprint. We have used the pallet in several of our operations and we like its durability and performance. The clients we deal with are looking deeply through their supply chains and using a 100% recycled pallet helps our Sustainable Development Goals. We are even able to send the very little waste we have to the Re>Pal Pasuruan factory where it will be reused in pallets for our Group, so we can close the loop on our plastic from our manufacturing process. It is better for us to see Re>Pal use our waste so we can establish a chain of custody over our waste rather than it go to a reseller where we do not know how it is used or disposed of.”

Given Dynapack has many factories across Asia we look forward to further expanding this relationship and I am particularly impressed with Dynaplast’s focus on their supply chain. This responsibility towards waste is the gold standard for Indonesia and is the type of symbiotic relationship we encourage with our other prospective or existing clients.
