As Indonesia pulls itself through the pandemic, I felt that we are at a promising time to add sales capacity into our Indonesia team. We have added 3 new starters from February / March this year. We have Sapto in Bekasi area East Jakarta covering the industrial area of Jabodetabek; Eva covering the South of Jakarta including Bogor; and we have Widya as Sales Operations, developing leads in-house for the team and optimising our Sales CRM.
Of course, we are hopeful that we have a successful trial with Unilever in April 2021 and that this can become the gold standard reference site for us in Indonesia FMCG so that we can have other companies also adopt Re>Pal’s 100% recycled plastic pallet and send us their plastic packaging waste to boost their recovery rates. Hopefully with this, and the drives for sustainability led by initiatives such as Verra it is a great time to boost the sales bandwidth.
